Recommended Viewing from Someone Without a TV...
It's almost as bad as taking literary advice from a bookstore clerk. But seriously, this one should not be missed. One of my favorite shows re-imagined as a musical with songs by the writers of one of my favorite musicals! (It takes a minute...)
Due to lack of said TV (to be technical, I merely suffer from a lack of reception), I will be watching a DVRed version at Imelda's.

ah, but you're forgetting about how unemployable most english majors are. borders used to actively court them, to the point where they had an in-house publishing channel for clerks / first-time novelists. i worked there after oxford, and at an indie in san francisco for the first few months after graduating from stanford. at both places, i had to deal with customers who requested shit like "the stranger, by albert CAY-MUSS. you've probably never heard of him."
be nice to your local minimum-wager.
No worries... I only joke. I always checked the employee recommendations at my local bookstore in D.C. (is it me, or is there someone at every store who likes those Flash books?) and still pine to work at a bookstore just for free remainders...
My joke about getting political news from a blog run by some drop out who sleeps in his parent's basement - that one may be closer to the truth... (I now anxiously await feedback from some friend from college who blogs like Kos and lives at home...)
Tell me more about this "in-house publishing channel..."
Hi Uncle ----. It's me, Noa Tiferet. Why didn't you write anything about our visit? I love my butterfly wings. I'm going flying into a tree, and Ima won't be able to catch me. Love, Noa
